The Wedding

Lord Jesus, just as you live to do the will of your father, I live to do your will, which is also the Father’s will. I will abide in you, not by my might, but by the might of your Holy Spirit.  I’ve seen you; therefore, I’ve seen the Father and He is good.

Jesus, you were found in the scriptures yesterday, as well as today, and I know I’ll see you there tomorrow too. Through the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit in my brothers and sisters I’ve seen you visit the brother in prison and wipe the tears of the sick. I’ve witnessed you comfort the widow, provide for the poor, and hold the orphan’s hand.

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me. Matthew 25:40 (ESV)

My brothers and sisters join me in worship and praise of our Most Holy One sent from the Father that we might be saved.

Dear Jesus, be glorified in us as you teach us your ways. We’ll learn to share one another burdens, we’ll give to each other as needed so no one is lacking, we’ll bless one another with your grace; above all, we’ll love as each other as you’ve commanded, so others will know we are truly are the children of God!

Though we were once slaves to the sins, caught up in the deceptions of this world, and there was no light in us, the Father sent the Son and through Jesus Christ’s perfect sacrifice we were set free because whoever the Son sets free is free indeed.

4And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe[d] came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Act 2: 42-47 (ESV)

Rise up, oh church rise up and sing the praises of Jesus Christ our King! Prepare the bride, its almost wedding time! The Groom is coming, he’s coming soon! Fill your lamps with oil, and He will fill your hearts with joy! Jesus, our groom is coming make way for his bride!

Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.[b Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. Matthew 25:1-4 (ESV)
