I’ve Missed You

Hello Dear Ones,

It’s been way too long since I’ve written you. So I’m dusting the cobwebs off this blog and praying that Good Lord will revive it according to His perfect will.  May the words written here glorify God the Father through his son, our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Has the Lord ever given you a task that seems way out of your skill set? Or perhaps it’s something you’re gifted in but he wants you to use it in a way that never occurred to you? Yeah, He does that!

“When I first started writing, I was ready to write the kind fiction that would change lives. I could see the Lord using my writing as a creative way to teach valuable life lessons. Right, that was my plan. I’ve a cabinet full of stories to prove that was “My plan.”

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. (ESV)

Then the Lord showed me something. Since I was a little girl attending parochial school he’d put a fire in my in my soul to speak up when someone distorted His truth or His ways. He gave me the wisdom and courage to question the priests, nuns, or anyone when what they were teaching didn’t line up with scriptures.

The Lord didn’t make me a scholar, or a minister, but He gave me a passion for sharing what the Spirit has laid on my heart. He’s given me this urgency for sharing his truths as he reveals them to me. That means not only the good easy truths but the hard difficult ones too. Sometimes the word He gives us isn’t easy to swallow but it allows us to mature in our walk.

If you’re willing to walk this journey with me, I promise to speak whatever the Holy Spirit lays on my heart through his word with truth and grace. I also promise to admit when I’m wrong and I humbly pray you’ll forgive me.

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. (ESV

Lord I pray this place Glorifies You. That You’ll put a hunger for Your truths in every reader that visits this blog. I pray the readers will leave here wanting a closer, real relationship with you Lord God. That they’ll come to know you fully and look forward to spending eternity in fellowship with You, the Almighty God. You are amazing God! In Jesus name. Amen.

With much love and blessings,
